Hi there! My name is Ciara and I’m a third year student in the Faculty of Arts, with a major in History and a minor in Anthropological Archaeology. I’ve got quite a few hobbies, but my favourites have to be fibre arts like embroidery, which I’m trying to incorporate into my class projects. As a history and archaeology student, I’ve picked up quite a bit of trivia knowledge about UBC’s campus, Vancouver, and the surrounding area, so if you’re ever in need of some fun facts, I have more than enough to share!

Hello, everyone. I’m Yasmeen! Currently, I’m in my third year studying Global Health and hopefully minoring in Philosophy. In short, my interests are like day and night: they tend to range from being really social and proactive within my communities to hibernating in my room and binging kdramas. I love talking every chance I get which is why I enjoy public speaking, teaching, voice acting, and having conversations with the people around me. Writing is also one of my favourite passions, but I guess you could say I’m a writer with constant writer’s block. All in all, one thing is for sure : cats, children, and mangos will always be a constant in my life no matter how old I get. If you ever see me around, come say hi! We may live our lives separately but we are more connected than we think. I look forward to meeting you 🙂
