Academic IntegrityAcademic Integrity is a term tossed around a lot at UBC but what does it mean?! UBC (and all institutions) require you to create and express your own ideas in course work, acknowledge all sources of information, complete assignments independently or acknowledge collaboration, accurately report results when conducting your own research or with respect to labs and maintain honesty during examinations. Read through our important guide and you will keep yourself safe from penalties and repercussions and build yourself a solid reputation as a respected scholar at UBC. |

Peer Academic CoachingPeer Academa-who now?! This is a fancy term for a trained fellow student who will help you develop your student skills. For the price of 10-30 minutes of your time, you get a one-on-one mentor that will direct you to relevant resources and follow up on whether or not your new time management scheme is working. Peer Academic Coaches are NOT tutors, they assist you in becoming a (mostly) stress-free student! |
